Depending on some settings in the Setup panel, KSetiSpy will also have an icon in the tray. The color and shape of this icon will convey information about the state of the SETI@home client. More precisely, the icon will be one of the following:
The client is idle.
The client is running; there are no returned signals.
The client is running; there are returned signals.
The client is running; there are interesting gaussians.
Right-clicking on the tray icon, it will bring up a menu with the following items:
This submenu allows you to start/stop the client. You can also lower the priority if the client is running. Note that while you'll alway be able to stop a running client, you won't be able to start it unless you have previously provided its location (and command line arguments, if any) in the Profile configuration dialog.
Here you can choose what information the KSetiSpy's tray icon tooltip should display.
Using this submenu you can see which profile is current, as well as change the current profile.
Brings up the panel containing version number and credits.
Minimizes/restores the KSetiSpy main window.
Exits the application.
